Shot last year, drug dealer sent to jail
A young drug dealer shot in the legs last year got a lighter-than-usual jail term so won’t be automatically deported. “I’m trying to make better choices,” Cedeno Grant, 25, told Ontario Court Justice Robert Gee. Grant, who pleaded guilty to possession for the purpose of trafficking, was born in Jamaica but grew up in Brantford. “This was a major wake-up call for him,” said Grant’s lawyer, Peter Craniotis.
